Thanks for the Memories
Camp Reverie is over!
*applause*

Despite a rough Day 1, we still kept our spirits up and made the best of the rest of the camp!
[jee dubble ou dee jay ou bee, GOOD JOB, GOOD JOB *clap clap*]
As Harper Lee once said, true courage is 'when you know you're licked before you begin, but you begin anyway and see it through no matter what.'
Not sure what's the link (if any), but hey, no harm knowing ;)

Hope we managed to learn a thing or two from Cat. High, and maybe Peirce as well :)

Of course, Day 4 was the best...!
Haha...

Sigh...
Memories like this don't come by very often...
I'm glad I was able to share it with you guys :)

*looks at tagbaoard*
Aw... Ms. Lim... So sweet...
You know this camp wouldn't have been possible without you!

Thanks for lifting our morale and imbuing us with the strength to continue giving our best, especially after Days 1 & 2!
Thanks for setting curfews every night! Although we tended not to follow them (whoops), some of us (if not all) kinda regret it later in the day ><
Thanks for the keys to hot showers!

Also thanks to Amir, his mom, and others who helped provide the food for the final night!
Mmm... Brownies...

And also not forgetting :

Music Directors :
Mr. Lim Yean Hwee
Mr. Eric Lee
Ms. Loh Wan Shan (assistant)

Teachers-in-Charge :
Ms. Goon Swee Chong (JJC)
Ms. Khairiah Othman (PSS)
Mdm. Sharon Teo (PSS)
Mrs. Hannah Chia (PSS)
Ms. Huang Xu Wen (PSS)
Mdm. Hardeep Kaur (CHS)
Ms. Stephanie Gerard (CHS)
Mr. Zamin Termizi (CHS)
Mr. Khirul Hafiz(CHS)

Special Thanks :
Ms. Jamakyah Adhar (for concert booklet)
Peirce alumni

Thanks for everything!

On a more serious note, now that the reverie's over, it's back to reality.
About two weeks to finish up your holiday homework... You can do it!

Sigh...
With such alluring alliteration, it's a wonder the oxymoron got lost -.-'

Anyway, stay happy, healthy, holy (?)
And we'll see each other again next year, 11 Jan 2010.

Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!

The Morning Before
Hey, doubt anyone will still be awake to read this...

Anyway, camp's starting in about six hours...
And Day 1 is probably the longest (and most tiring) day of the whole camp...
So please, have a good night's sleep, and come ready tomorrow :D
(if somehow, you're sleeping now, and a beautiful dream begins when I click 'Publish Post', you owe me a drink) [if a nightmare begins, not my fault :P]
See you!

After the Day
*Applause*

Good work guys, it has be a smashing night
and it just rocks!
Alright take good rest over these days
(meaning go sleep now =P) and recover back
those missing sleep all these while =D

Kudos to JJCSB, MISB, St. Luke's Hospital,
Mr. Lim, Mr. Ong, Mr. Lim, Ms. Lim,
Ms. Huang, Ms. Ng, Friends who have
volunteered help to us *voluntarily* for
this to happen, and our Seniors for supporting
us *applaud again!*

p.s. free drink offer still up till next
week, but please be reminded there's no
flavour called "Free Drink" so don't ask
for a free drink of "Free Drink".. uh
never mind.

On a side note, in the words of Mr. Ong, let us not lose focus. We've got one more concert coming up, this one involving two new pieces : Festa Paesana, and 情熱大陸 (Jounetsu Tairiku) [a little sample of which can be found here].
[Note : I think the sample differs greatly with our scores, but at least you'll get an idea of the piece]

Please use these two days to rest well, prepare the two new pieces, and come back refreshed on Thursday.

Once again, nice job :) *applaud again*

Also all the best to Debbie on Wednesday :D

The Day Before
Tomorrow's Colori Della Vita!
Please have a good night's sleep (if you're reading this, sleep now), and tomorrow, while on your way to school, please take some time to look through your scores. Try to remember what Mr. Lim said, what he will do, and try to memorize a few bars before and after tempo changes so you can watch him.

Have fun tomorrow :D
